The Travelers Championship will host the second annual Walmart Classic for The First Tee of Connecticut on Sunday, June 10 at TPC River Highlands. The event will feature amateur foursomes with special appearances from local celebrities and junior members from The First Tee of Connecticut.

The First Tee of Connecticut is a youth development organization that uses golf as its vehicle to teach life skills and The First Tee’s Nine Core Values to children throughout the state. The First Tee of Connecticut is a chapter of The First Tee®, an organization that is recognized as one of the premier youth character-education groups in the country. The mission of the organization is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
