Practice Facility

At 23-acres, the facility is one of the largest on the PGA TOUR and has received great acclaim from golf professionals, fans and sports media. The $4.5 million facility will be utilized annually as a practice facility for the Travelers Championship and for youth development golf programs through The First Tee of Connecticut. Fans can see all that goes into warming up to compete at a PGA TOUR event. At our state-of-the-art practice facility, fans will find seating to watch professionals prepare for the event, a kids autograph zone and more.

Approximately:

• 200,000 cubic yards of earth moved, that is enough to raise a football field 100 feet.
• 2 tons of total seed was required, that is enough to grass 22 football fields.
• 1,500 linear feet of cart path was installed.
• 25,000 linear feet (5 miles) of irrigation pipe was installed.
