PGA TOUR Professional Practice Rounds
The world’s best golfers prepare to compete in the Travelers Championship.

9:00a.m.-4:00p.m.
Play Golf America Day, presented by Connecticut Section PGA
Free lessons with local professionals, equipment demos and more!

10:30a.m.
The Dennis Walters Golf Show
A demonstration of golf mastery and human inspiration, from a legendary golfer who has overcome his disability for love of the game.

3:00p.m
Celebrity Charity Shootout Contest
Local celebrities take their best shots for charity.

- 5:30 p.m.

Special opportunity for Junior golfers to play 9 holes on the tournament course alongside PGA TOUR professionals!

Eligibility:
There are two ways to earn a playing spot in the inaugural Travelers Championship Junior Pro-Am.
  1. Participation in fundraisers conducted by Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association and/or The First Tee of Connecticut

  2. Submit a letter requesting entry to the Travelers Championship Tournament Director, similar to a Sponsor Exemption request on the PGA TOUR.

    Guidelines to submit a letter for exemption:

    Submission should include:
    • General biographical information about the junior golfer (age, hometown, home golf club if applicable, school, hobbies, community involvement, etc.).
    • Junior golfer’s reason for wanting to play in this event.
    • Information about their level of golf experience.
    • Name and contact information.
    • Contact information for one reference who can attest to the junior golfer’s level of golf experience.
    • Request should be no longer than 1,000 words.
    • Submit via email to Caitlin Champ at cchamp@travelerschampionship.com 
    • Junior golfer must be between 10 – 18 years of age.
    • Male and females are encouraged to apply.
    • Deadline for entries is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12.
    • Players selected to compete will be notified by Tuesday, June 16.
