BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship Join runners, walkers and plenty of golf fans for the inaugural BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship to be held along the Cromwell roads that line the fairways and greens of TPC River Highlands and the spectacular new practice facility. The BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship will complement the tournament’s mission of giving back to the community. Participants will be raising funds and food donations to help provide meals, shelter, and other services to those in need at these Connecticut charity organizations: Columbus House, New Haven, CT; East Hartford Shelter, East Hartford, CT; Merton House, Bridgeport, CT; and St. Vincent de Paul Society of Waterbury, Waterbury, CT. 9:00AM	Opening Ceremonies Opening Ceremonies of the 2009 Travelers Championship at the TPC River Highlands. Ceremony will be held on Hole No. 17.
12:00PM	Aetna Tournament Players Pro-Am Amateurs and PGA TOUR Professionals compete on the tournament course at the TPC River Highlands. Shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.

7:00AM	Practice Rounds PGA TOUR Professionals prepare for the Travelers Championship.
9:00AM	Fan & Family Day A full day of events for the whole family!
9:00AM	Play Golf America Day Free lessons for all ages on the driving range at TPC River Highlands, presented by Connecticut Section PGA.
10:30AM	The Dennis Walters Show Entertaining and inspirational golf show presented by a remarkable individual who has overcome disability for his love of the game.

7:00AM	Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am From a breath-taking putt to a soaring drive, there's no telling what great golf moments you might see happen when celebrities, PGA TOUR Professionals and amateurs compete at the TPC River Highlands. Starting times from approximately 6:50 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
6:30PM	Pro-Am Awards Awards Ceremony with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for participants in the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am and the Aetna Tournament Players Pro-Am. Prizes will be distributed to the top teams in each pro-am.

7:00AM	Travelers Championship Competition Round The action begins! Be there to see PGA TOUR Professionals compete at the TPC River Highlands in the competition rounds of the 2009 Travelers Championship. Tee times: Approximately 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
7:30AM	Travelers Championship Women's Day Social events, golf clinics for women and more! 7:30 a.m. Networking breakfast featuring keynote speaker Chris Dailey, Associate Head Coach UConn Women's Basketball. . 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Golf Clinic for Women on the new practice facility. Golf 101, an introduction to the game in a fun, relaxed setting. Special ticket offer available for Women's Day: $25 ticket includes admission to tournament, admission to breakfast, access to Women's Day golf activities, and a $10 donation to Aurora Women & Girls Foundation.

6:30PM	Michelob Ultra 19th Hole Concert Series Live music from popular local bands. Concert will be held in the Fan Zone following play. Friday night will feature The Groove Junkies, a high-energy cover band performing everyone's favorite hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today.

6:00PM	Closing Ceremonies The Travelers Championship champion is awarded the trophy and winner's check in ceremonies on the 18th green at the conclusion of play.
